This small reservoir is a great location to SUP near Carbondale Colorado!

Dinkle Lake Day Use Area is at the base of Mount Sopris. It adjacent to popular hiking trails and near the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area. It an fun spot for SUP stand up paddle boarding, picnics and lake fishing.

Dinkle Lake is also sometimes called Lake Ann Reservoir.

The road up to Dinkle is a rough dirt road and you will need a high clearance vehicle.

Directions: From Carbondale travel south on Hwy 133 for approximately 1.4 miles. Make a left turn on Prince Creek Road and go about 6 miles to the fork in the road. Take a right at the fork and follow it for 2 1/4 miles to Dinkle Lake.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER. GENERALLY IT APPEARS IN THE AFTERNOONS.
