BEAVER LAKE
Beaver Lake in Marble Colorado is CLOSED to recreational Standup Paddle Boarding! Here is some information pulled from an Aspen Daily New article.
Changes to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife rulebook are going to have major implications for Beaver Lake in Marble and some of the recreational activities that historically have been a staple of the area.
In fact, entry to the State Wildlife Area at all without a valid hunting or fishing license or Colorado SWA pass will be deemed as unlicensed occupation and illegal, according to the letter. Entry restrictions apply to all persons at least 16 years of age.
The new rules currently have a one-year “grace period,” according to the December letter to residents. During this time, the letter said, CPW patrollers will inform users who aren’t fishing that their usage is illegal.
