FAQ's

I've never been on a paddle board before! I've never done yoga before!  Can I do this?
Of course! We welcome those new to paddle boarding & yoga! In each class, we offer various options for different levels of fitness & flexibility. It’s not about how you compare to others, it’s about challenging yourself! The worst thing that can happen is that you fall into the warm hot springs water below.

What do I wear?
Bathing suit and/or moisture wicking yoga clothes/ athletic wear are a great options for SUPYoga. Keep in mind, a comfortable bathing suit/outfit will be best when moving thru the different poses on the board. As mornings in Colorado can be cool, we suggest layers. Starting w a long-sleeved athletic top and capris gives you options and can be removed during class. If very prone to chill, one may want to wear a wetsuit. Don’t forget to cover up in sunscreen prior class!

What should I bring?

  • your swimsuit/yoga clothes that can get wet
  • a towel
  • dry change of clothes
  • sunscreen
  • drinking water.
  • optional : sunglasses. hat. tip for your instructor
  • required: a smile!

What kind of SUPs are we practicing on & what is the thing in the middle?
Shaboomee paddleboards are designed with stability and versatility in mind. Our 11’ HydroCruisers fit perfectly into the lotus-inspired Nelumbo – SUP docking station. Our SUPs provide great stability, making it perfect for a brand new or experienced yogi. The top of each SUP has an extra-long deck pad that is soft and comfortable on the hands, feet, knees, and head so that you find ease into each pose. The diamond-grooved deck pad is durable and grippy. Unlike anything else on earth, the Nelumbo allows for an inspiring, focused, smooth, cohesive and fun experience for all ages and skill levels.

Come play with water as our studio & paddle boards as our mat!
